A Grocer and A Fruit Seller

Once a grocer abstracted a balance and some weights from a fruits-seller. After some days, the fruit seller asked the grocer to return his balance with weights to him. The grocer desired not to return those borrowed things, Though he said to the fruit seller that mice had eaten into his balance and weights. The grocer applied a lame excuse and made the fruit seller very angry.  But the fruit seller controlled his disposition and told the grocer that it was his bad luck. The dishonest grocer took him to be a fool. The fruit seller was thinking of a plan to teach him a good experience.

After that, one day the fruit seller was pleased with the grocer permitting his son to go with him to the Bazar as he was going there to do some shopping. The grocer permitted his son to go with him. Then after the day, the fruit seller returned alone from the Bazar. The grocer said him about his son. He replied that a crow had taken his son away. After this, the grocer was very angry and called the fruit seller a liar and called him how a crow could carry his son away. The fruit seller suddenly replied that it carried his son away in the same method as mice could eat into his balance and weights. The grocer understood what the fruit seller meant. He returned the balance and the weights to him and pleased the fruit seller to forgive him for telling a lie to him. He also requested he give him back his son. The fruit seller sent the boy back to his father.

Thus the fruit seller taught a good lesson to the grocer so that he(grocer) might not practice such evil habits.
