Biography of Modi:

Narendra Damodardas Modi is India’s 14th Prime Minister, who led the BJP to an impressive victory in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. After that, once again in 2019, he became the Prime Minister of India.

An interesting fact about Modi is that he became the Chief Minister of Gujarat for the first time as an MLA. Similarly, he became the Prime Minister of India for the first time as an MP. Modi is credited with the BJP’s success in the 2014 Lok Sabha polls and the first time a party won a majority in the Lok Sabha since 1984. Born in a Gujarati family in Bhadnagar, Modi used to help his father sell tea in his early life, later he ran a tea shop himself. Modi was introduced to the RSS at the age of 8 years and later he went a long way with this organiztion. He started working for BJP in 1985.

Modi came into contact with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) at the age of 8. In 1970, at the age of 20, influenced by the RSS, he became a full-time preacher and formally joined the RSS in 1971.

2019

 Narendra Modi once again sat on the throne of the Prime Minister of India for 5 years. In this election he won by a large number of votes.

2014

 Modi took oath as MP and Prime Minister for the first time for the country. He was sworn in on 26 May 2014. Modi is the first Prime Minister born after India’s independence.

2012

 Modi won from Moninnagar in Gujarat. She got this victory by defeating Shweta Bhatt. In 2012, he was elected as the Chief Minister of the country for the fourth time.

2007

 On December 23, 2007, Modi won as an MLA from Maninagar constituency. With this win in the Gujarat Assembly polls, Modi was sworn in as the Chief Minister for the third time, defeating Disha Patel of the Congress.
