Reading Newspaper is a good habit. In the morning, we eagerly wait for a newspaper. We cannot have our breakfast without a newspaper to flay. We cannot do a single day without a newspaper. It is a part and parcel of our day-to-day life. Newspaper is of great use to us. It serves the purpose of people of different sections. It acquaints us with the entire world. We get a lot of information in the newspapers. Through newspapers, we come to know what is going on in the world. By reading the newspaper we know about politics, economics. Culture. Literature, games, and sports of the entire world. Newspaper reading makes a man conscious. It bears the sign of good taste and wisdom. By reading the newspaper, a man can keep pace with time. So, we cannot describe the uses of newspaper reading in words.

The word ‘NEWS’ is made with the initial letters of the subsequent words. North, east, west, and south. The paper on which news is published or printed is termed a newspaper. Venice in Europe brought out the primary newspaper. During the Mughal rule, a sort of manuscript newspaper was in use within the sub-continent. ‘the Indian Gazatee ‘ published in 1744 was the primary printed newspaper. The primary Bengali newspaper was, ‘the Samachar Darpan’ published by the missionaries of Serampore. Newspapers are of assorted kinds-daily, weekly, bi-weekly, fortnightly, monthly, etc. to a civilized nation, a newspaper is a necessary thing. Reading Newspaper is a good habit. So, modern life is impossible without it. It gives us knowledge and educates us. It’s the foremost effective link among the press, people, and therefore the government.
