Even though educational institutions are closed, teaching is going on online: Education Minister.
Education Minister Dipu Moni has commented that online education is going on even though the educational institutions are closed. He was speaking as the chief guest at a meeting titled ‘Online Subject-Based Teacher Training Review and Evaluation’ organized by the National University.
Vice-Chancellor of the National University. Mashiur Rahman chaired the meeting of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Kazi Shahidullah, Education Secretary. The trainees including Mahbub Hossain, Dean, Registrar, Project Director of CEDP, Teacher Training Course Advisor, Resource Person were attached.
Dipu Moni said, ‘Online teaching needs to be further strengthened. We need to make sure that students can make up for their losses. Teachers are the beacon, they are the ideal for the students. The National University has continued online teacher training activities in the wake of the Corona epidemic. This is an important aspect in ensuring the quality of higher education in the country. This training will be more useful in online teaching.
