Admission and examination forms for DU students will be online from June 21.
Admission and examination forms for different years and semesters of Dhaka University undergraduate (honors) and postgraduate classes can be filled online. The activity will start online from June 21.
I took the decision at a meeting of the authorities at Professor Abdul Matin Chowdhury Virtual Classroom of Dhaka University’s administrative building on Thursday. The university’s public relations department said in a press release on Friday.
According to the notification, students will be able to pay all the hall and department institute dues after the examination on admission and examination fees. Considering the Corona situation, I have decided it waive the admission delay fee. Students will complete the admission and examination form filling process through the website.
The Vice-Chancellor thanked the people involved in the activities for filling up the online admission and examination forms.

Vice-Chancellor (Administration) Muhammad Samad, Vice-Chancellor (Education) ASM Maqsood Kamal, Treasurer Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed, Deans of the faculties and directors of the institutes were present at yesterday’s meeting of the university administration chaired by the Vice-Chancellor.
Vice-Chancellor ASM Maqsood Kamal told Prothom Alo that because of the new decision, students of Dhaka University will submit admission and examination fees in their respective years by accessing the prescribed web link. They will come to the university after opening the campus and all the other debts including the department-institute, hall. I have waived the late fee or penalty for late payment of these fees. Due to the Corona situation, normal educational activities of Dhaka University have been closed since mid-March last year. Although there are online class and midterm exams, the final exams of different years are stuck. The final examination is starting from the first week of July in different departments and institutes of Dhaka University. According to the decision of the department institutes, the examination has been initiated in both online and physical departments. With this examination and the new year’s admission process, the students living in rural areas in different parts of the country had to come to Dhaka in person and submit the admission and examination fees. Now that these fees have been paid online and the opportunity to pay the dues of halls, departments, and institutes has been opened up, the suffering of the students will be lessened.
