Publication of assignments in 8 subjects in the eighth week of secondary.

Assignments for the eighth week of secondary to ninth grade have been published. The Department of Secondary and Higher Education (Maushi) has given necessary instructions, including sending the assignments or assigned work prepared by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board to the educational institution. The Ministry of Education has taken this step to continue teaching students through assignments as the educational institutions are closed.

The assignment, published on June 20, includes lessons in English, Bengali, Higher Mathematics, Arts and Crafts, Agriculture, Home Science, and Economics.

Earlier, assignment activities were temporarily suspended due to lockdown. On May 24, the Divisional Deputy Director, District Education Officer, and Upazila / Thana Education Officer were instructed to resume the assignment activities for the students of class VI to IX.

The office order has directed to give the assignment or scheduled work of the 2021 academic year to all the students of sixth to ninth class like the 2020 academic year. The Deputy Director, District Education Officer,themnd Upazila / Thana Education Officer along with the Head of the Institution are instructed to take necessary steps to implement the assignment following proper hygiene rules.

Because of the corona, normal class activities were closed in all educational institutions from March 16, 2020. We then assessed students through assignments to take part in educational activities according to the prescribed curriculum.

I will assess their learning outcomes through assignments. I have prepared assignments considering the weekly student assessment as per the rearranged syllabus. I will publish the assignment on the Department of Education website at the beginning of the week. Students are taking extra assignments after completing their assignments and submitting them to the educational institution.

I have asked schools to give and receive assignments to students online or at a social distance. I have asked it to ensure that no student is under financial pressure. I cannot give students any kind of exam or homework without an assignment. I have asked teachers to evaluate students’ assignments verbatim through the best, the best, the best, the need for progress, and so on. Besides, I have asked the students to mark the strong and weak points in the notebook and record them. Meanwhile, the department has banned students from making assignments by looking at note guides. I have also informed that if I made the assignment after looking at the note guide, they will cancel it. In this case, submit that assignment again.
