Burning Desire is the Secret to Success
A younger guy asked Socrates the secret to fulfillment. Socrates advised the young guy to fulfill him close to the river the following morning. They met. Socrates asked the younger man to walk with him in the river’s direction. While the water got as much as their neck, Socrates took the young man by marveling and ducked him into the water. The boy struggled to get out, but Socrates becomes strong and kept him there till the boy started turning blue. Socrates pulled his head out of the water, and the primary factor the young man became to gasp and take a deep breath of air. Socrates requested, ‘What did you want the maximum while you have been there?” The boy spoke back, “Air.” Socrates stated, “this is the secret to fulfillment. When you want achievement as badly as you wanted the air, then you may get it.” there may be a no different mystery.
Moral of the story:
A burning choice is the starting point of all accomplishments. Just like a small hearth can not deliver much warmness, a susceptible choice can’t produce widespread effects.
A Small Boy
Yesterday I had stopped at a light. As I waited for the lights to show green, a tiny low boy approached me. He was holding a bunch of pens in his hand. He asked me to shop for some. I told him I didn’t need any. He gave me a beseeching look, explaining that they were the bottom. The boy had a sweet, innocent face and looked bored with trying to sell his pens. I had seen him visiting others, but nobody bought any of his pens. My friend who was with me suggested giving some money to the boy, so he wouldn’t bother us. I gave him money by buying two of his pens.
I explained to my friend that her suggestion would be a deterrent to the tiny boy’s effort to earn some money rather than begging for help. She agreed, and that we went on our way. The boy was trying to assist his family by doing something. This I assumed was commendable.
