Every day many of us are involved in road accidents. Some are killed. more are injured or maimed. So we need to be told to use the roads properly and safely. No sane person would like to be involved in an accident.

As the roads are very busy nowadays, we should always be very careful when crossing the road. it’s safer to use a crossing or an overhead bridge whenever one is obtainable. Never cross a road by dashing across it. that’s inviting trouble. If there aren’t any crossings,  we must look carefully right and left and cross only if it’s safe to try to so.

Some of us take the bus to high school. We mustn’t attempt to get on or off a bus while it’s still moving. I attempted to induce on a moving bus once. It dragged me a brief distance and nearly ran over me. I used to be lucky to flee with just some scratches on my legs. Also, we must not fool around while on the bus. A sudden lurch can send us knocking our heads against something hard.

Using a bicycle is often dangerous too. We must concentrate on the road and never cycle too far resolute the center of the road. We must obey all traffic rules. Also, we must confirm our bicycles are in condition with working brakes, lights, etc.

These are some things that we can do to avoid accidents. However, there’s no guarantee that we’ll never be involved in one. The important thing is to remain alert at the least times while using the roads. We must know what’s happening around us. in this way, we will take necessary action to avoid danger whenever we see one. Road safety is incredibly much up to how we use the roads. Use them carefully and that we are also able to use them for an extended time. Use them carelessly and that we may never be able to use them again.

Some Road Safety Rules For Children :

1. Help your child to learn the traffic lights and signs, and what every color indicates.

• Green suggests that ‘go’: only if the signal turns ‘green’, vehicles move ahead.

• Red suggests that to ‘stop’: once the signal turns red, all the vehicles got to stop.

• Yellow suggests that to slow down, vehicles ought to cut down once the signal turns yellow and prepare to prevent.

• The ‘Walk’ or a walking man image at intersections is for pedestrians.
